The NFC Tap iOS App is a powerful tool that takes advantage of the new NFC core feature of iOS 17. It allows users with iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone 11, iPhone12, iPhone13, iPhone14, and iPhone15 devices to easily read and write NFC tags. This app enhances the user experience by providing quick access to recorded actions based on the tag's NDEF content.

The NFC Tap iOS App provides several useful functions based on the NFC tag content:

• Connect to Wi-Fi devices by entering SSID, Key password, and encryption type
• Pair with Bluetooth devices, making it easy to connect to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices
• Open URLs in a web browser based on the URL contained in the tag's NDEF record
• Retrieve contact information, including ID picture, from business card (vCard) tags
• Geolocalize a position by opening Apple Maps to the GPS location stored in the tag
• Initiate SMS or Email by opening the relevant application with information from the tag
• Make phone calls by opening the phone service with the number from the tag's NDEF message
• Read text messages stored in the tag
• Support for Mime NDEF examples, such as application/pdf and userManual.pdf
• Support for External NDEF examples, such as video/mpeg and video.mov

In addition, the NFC Tap App also includes Bluetooth pairing functionality with a ST25DV discovery board.
